You can now combine an existing ABN with your previous SBC accounts and your former BellSouth area accounts on ONE Convergent Bill in order to emphasize a view. You will have a more thorough discussion about this with your conversion manager. Every AT&T Convergent Bill account is created on BusinessDirect eBill as well. BusinessDirect is a very functional portal that contains a variety of features. The View, Analyze, and Pay Your Bill link under the Inside Tools area can be found on the screen after logging into BusinessDirect. BusinessDirect eBill lives up to its name by enabling users to view a copy of the invoice, evaluate your data using a variety of reports, contest any disputed charges, and pay your account. It is not necessary and merely an option to pay using BusinessDirect eBill.
Once users have registered with BusinessDirect, they may use the Training and Site Support sections to browse the many training courses and tutorials. Users can also access BusinessDirect's Chat Live function for additional support.
You can see an example of the invoice summary page on your screen. When you choose your Convergent Bill account in BusinessDirect eBill, this will be your landing page. Each item that is highlighted in blue and is clickable. From this page, you can jump directly to a number of reports. Data from reports can be extracted using tools like Formatted Excel, Tab delimited, FTP, and more, or it can be run in HTML. To see the payment options, select Pay Bill. To view a PDF image of the invoice, you can alternatively use the Retrieve Print Image Format button. You will have the option to choose a print image of each of the individual invoices that make up that month's Convergent Bill in addition to the AT&T Convergent Bill invoice image.
One of the following options for bill display may be available to you when creating a new Convergent Bill. The most information is contained in the Standard style, which is a very thorough billing format. The Summary style omits the specifics while still giving you an overview of the charges and credits. In a moment, we'll examine each choice in greater detail. No matter whatever style you select, keep in mind that BusinessDirect eBill provides online access to all the information you need to review and pay your account.
The current paper alternative will remain available if an AT&T Convergent Bill is created with an ABN account.
An illustration of a Standard Style Convergent Bill is displayed on your screen. A fast overview of the current charges, payments, adjustments, and Total Amount Due is provided in the Bill-At-A-Glance section. Convergent statement offers alternatives for grouping several AT&T invoices into a single, simple-to-read statement in addition to combining them. Charges will be broken down into accounts, groups (with the description you specify), and subaccounts. You may find our toll-free customer service number at the top of each page of your bill. For a certain subaccount, the Standard style Convergent Bill also offers you simple-to-read charges.
An illustration of what a Summary Style Convergent Bill's second page would look like will pop up. The Summary style offers a table-formatted summary view of costs for simple viewing. All Convergent Bills have the option of grouping together particular accounts and supplying a custom label for that group. This is an example of how certain groupings appear on an invoice in the summary format. Each specified group is also given a subtotal. This Convergent Bill is an illustration of the environmentally beneficial Remit Only approach. Only a few pages of account information are provided in the Remit Only format. Each defined group is given a total as well as subaccounts under that group.
Let's now discuss AT&T Convergent billing in more depth. Your Conversion Manager will suggest a date for the drafting of the Convergent Bill.
The accounts that make up your Convergent Bill will continue to have the same bill dates in their originating systems. If you have net 45 day payment terms they will have to be adjusted to 30 day payment terms. This billing is so much faster the need for 45 day payment terms aren’t as important.
If you have any questions about your AT&T Convergent Bill, you can contact one single bill inquiry number. Your charges are also linked to AT&T BusinessDirect eBill, as I already indicated. Individual bills would then be referred to as Subaccounts, and your Convergent Bill number would become the account number. Since Convergent Bill offers you a single payment period for all expenses, you won't have to worry about paying bills on different dates throughout the month.
Individual accounts that you choose to be convergent won't generate individual paper bills anymore. The invoice will say Do Not Pay in the few instances where paper is not suppressed. It is crucial to keep paying each invoice until you stop receiving them or they are marked "Do Not Pay." Additionally, it is crucial that you pay the Convergent Bill as a whole rather than the individual accounts when you receive your Convergent Bill. Customers can use the alternative bill media options in BusinessDirect eBill to self-subscribe to data on CD or DVD. Bill images, data files, and customer service records (commonly known as CSRs) are available options. On the BusinessDirect eBill's Invoice Summary page, you can access bill messages that are not visible on the print bill. Customers of Convergent Bill must sign an Agreement, but your current contracts remain in effect. Once you're ready to move forward, your Conversion Manager will give you a personalized Agreement. Convergent Bill establishment doesn't result in a change in your account team. Partial payments will be deducted from the total balance of the Convergent Bill if they are received.
Calling the toll-free customer service number or using the dispute feature in BusinessDirect eBill are both options for raising a claim over any disputed charges. Existing BusinessDirect user IDs will remain the same. Your current profile will be updated by the Conversion Manager to reflect the new Convergent Bill account number.
